Circle of Friends

Offering support and an informal place for a cuppa and chat.

Water Ripple Effect

Bereavement, loss and loneliness are experiences that touch many of us throughout our life. Some find comfort in sharing with family or friends, others may prefer to cope in silence or feel they have no one to turn to at all.

The Circle of Friends is a supportive community group created by and for those who understand what you are going through. Together we offer a warm hand of friendship, a listening ear and a welcoming space where you are supported by others who have walked a similar path.

Our meetings are informal and not all sadness and silence. You may hear laughter, see smiles ad feel warmth from genuine connection. Whether you choose to share your thoughts or simply sit back and listen, you'll be met with kindness and understanding.

From your very first visit, our trained volunteers from Stafford & District Bereavement & Loss Support Service and regular members will welcome you, introduce you to others and help you to feel at ease with a cuppa in hand.

Grief and loss are a journey. There are good days and difficult ones, but having something to look forward to - a chat, a cup of tea, a moment of connection - can make a real difference so you don't have to face it alone.
