10 July 2026 @ Stone Golf Club

Charity Golf Day at Stone Golf Club organised by SING 4 Business - business networking

What an incredible (and very hot) day which started with breakfast at the golf club including bacon and sausage baps and a cuppa or two..!

After plans were announced for the day, the golfers went off onto the green with options for great prizes and trophies for a hole in one (to win a car!), nearest the pin or second nearest the pin and some mulligans for a free shot! Each hole on the green was sponsored by various businesses who were connected with the business networking group in some way.

On return to the clubhouse for lunch and drinks, the auction took place for incredible prizes including holidays, signed football shirts, spa days and much more plus a range of fantastic raffle prizes!

The SING 4 Business (Staffordshire Independent Networking Group) members worked really hard to make this day a success with a target of £1,000 to raise for SDBLSS who the members regularly support with their business skills and fundraising ideas.

The final total was over £2,500!!!! They smashed it!

The Chair of SDBLSS, Mrs Shyamali Fenton, said she was truly astounded by the support, dedication and generosity of members of SING and those who contributed in some way to make this charity golf day so successful. The money raised was just incredible and will help to maintain the free service provided by the charity for those people going through bereavement or loss.

Staffordshire Independent Networking Group meets every Wednesday morning from 7am at Stone Golf Club on the A34 in Stone and share and support each other’s business in an informal atmosphere with a fantastic cooked breakfast and great comradely.
